Art Hounds: Northern Spark returns; Ta-coumba Aiken’s abstract art on display

“He talks about channeling the spirits of his ancestors into form and coloration,” claimed Baker, introducing that he does so in “beautiful and remarkable approaches.” In some paintings, figures seem to be to emerge from the energetic strains on the canvas.
